Apparently my decorating style is modern japandi with a cozy feminine twist (according to ChatGPT). My sister says im a minimalist.Two things can be true at once. I see more minimalist tho, but i understand the modern japandi claims. The soft neutrals, bunch of woods, textured fabrics, cozy/warm lighting, and lil feminine touches. i love it, who knew??? I always thought i was a boho girly.
I love him and wouldn't trade him for the world but sometimes I need a break. I hid from him. Sometimes I will hid underneath the covers to relieve myself of his sickneness, stay in my car for an hour or go in the bathroom. All this boy wanna do is play, but i think it's just cause he still a pup. He so messy too. He will eat his food, spit it out beside his bowl then go back for more. So now there is grains of rice everywhere. I sweep so dern often. But I can't do nothing, he's my lil boy.
Tea Time
Tea time is taken seriously around here. I got a cute lil glass teapot from Amazon and be working the hell out of her. I find it very peaceful and it reminds me of nana making tea (sweet and regular degular). Sometimes I drink my tea with a croissant sandwich or whatever I cooked for dinner. Other times I sit in quiet and spend time with God.
I remember in high school people used to think I had Tourette's, and thinking back on school...it was so embarrassing. I still have my outbursts and do strange things. I wonder if my neighbors can hear me. I be so loud saying random things, yelling at my momma, or singing. Ion never hear them tho, unless they slam they door hard. That's why I love this apartment. Ion get complaints, they don't bother me, and i like the controlled access for the ppl who don't live here.
I recently changed my feelings about shoes in the palace. I see why this is done in Japanese culture. Tracking the dirt in the bathroom, through the theater, messing up the carpet in my room (idk why they thought putting beige carpet was a good idea anyways). Now I just take em off right when I step in. I need to get a shoe rack and put it by the door. My top 3 most worn shoes is over there now. There was one day where i could see the imprint of my shoes on the floor & that's what bought about this change. Now only slippers and socks is permitted, I will not create unnecessary mess to clean. It cuts into my me time.
